The Oklahoma State Capitol was completed June 30, 1917. As part of the Oklahoma State Capitol Centennial, a collection of items from present-day have been collected for a centennial time capsule. Keep Oklahoma Beautiful had the opportunity to include a letter for the capsule, and hopes to convey to future generations the importance of a sustainable, beautiful Oklahoma.
66 community structures across Oklahoma have been chosen as projects for Fresh Paint Days. This Keep Oklahoma Beautiful (KOB) program is designed to encourage volunteers to seek out structures and renovate them with the creative use of resources. 47 community groups will participate this year.
