Happy America Recycles Day!

Today is America Recycles Day, which means today is a call to action and an invitation to committing to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Our landfills are rapidly filling. America produces around 258 million tons of municipal solid waste each year. Recycling prevents much waste from ending up in a landfill. Also, those recycled materials are used to make new products, using less energy than raw materials. Check out the EPA website for more facts on waste reduction.
